The Basia 45 SCW QD combines almost all the technical attributes of a high quality and durable carp reel. The lightweight Zaion roller body provides a torsion-resistant bearing of the gear and ensures a durable, silky smooth ride. The thick axle is made of a special stainless steel and easily withstands the high loads of long distance carp fishing. The Longcast trailing edge with the 45mm long throw spool in combination with the Slow Cross Wrap line laying ensures better casting distances - ideal when very long casts are required. The CNC milled Tough Digigear transmission offers an enormous power transmission in the drill and allows easy recovery of heavy assemblies from a long distance.
The spare spool offers a line capacity of 530m / 0.35mm monofilament line - so the Basia 45 SCW QD is also suitable for long range fishing in large waters!
The hoop is always turned by hand.
